59 Capital Partners, the boutique fundraising and advisory firm focused on building long-term partnerships between specialised asset managers and institutional investors across Europe, today announced the appointment of Michael Ingelög as Senior Strategic Adviser.
The appointment marks an important step in the firm's continued development, as 59 Capital Partners builds its platform for the coming years of growth and expansion.
"I am very pleased to welcome Michael to 59 Capital Partners. We have worked together over many years, and I have always valued his strategic perspective, integrity, and ability to combine institutional experience with an entrepreneurial mindset. Bringing Michael into the firm at this stage is a natural step as we continue to build for the long term."
"Michael's experience across global financial institutions, combined with his work as an entrepreneur and investor, makes him highly relevant for where we are as a firm today. We see this as part of strengthening our platform as we grow and broaden our activities over time."
Michael Ingelög is an entrepreneur, founder, and private investor with a particular focus on Financial Technology and B2B Software. He currently serves on the boards of several private companies primarily in the Nordic region.
Most recently, he co-founded and exited digital mortgage lender Stabelo. Prior to this, he held senior leadership roles at global financial institutions, including serving as CEO of Credit Suisse in the Nordic region and as a member of the bank's EMEA Operating Committee. In this role, he was responsible for building and overseeing the bank's activities across the region and worked closely with both major financial institutions and regulators.
Earlier in his career, Michael led Global Markets for Deutsche Bank in the Nordics and held senior roles at UBS, following his early career at Handelsbanken where he held several management positions. He holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from Uppsala University.
"I am very pleased to join 59 Capital Partners at this stage of its development. The firm has established a strong foundation with a clear focus on quality and long-term partnerships. I look forward to contributing to its continued growth and to supporting the team as they further develop the platform."
In his role as Senior Strategic Adviser, Michael will support 59 Capital Partners in its broader strategic development, including long-term positioning, growth initiatives, and the continued evolution of the firm's offering.
